Steve Moore – President/Chief Executive Officer
President and CEO of Wastren Advantage, Inc. since 2005, Steve Moore holds a J.D. with a B.S. in Natural Science and associate’s degree in Plastic/Chemical Engineering Technology. Prior to his current position, he has held several senior management positions, including being responsible for the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS) Site Services and Waste Management contracts. Mr. Moore has more than 20 years of combined experience in all aspects of environmental management, including technical and project management experience.
Doug Collins – Director, Project Management Office
Mr. Collins has more than 21 years of experience in the areas of project management, project controls, waste management, and decontamination and decommissioning support. In addition to a B.S. in Natural Science and B.S. in Chemistry, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) accredited through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mr. Collins’ site operations experience includes managing more than 100 technical and administrative staff at DOE’s Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant.
Rick Penpek – Manager, Business Management Office
With a B.S. in Administration of Justice with a concentration in Business Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance, Mr. Penpek has more than 25 years of business management experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy and commercial contracts. He has extensive experience leading business support services for acquisitions, new business startups, emerging growth companies, and workforce transition contracts in the federal government contracting arena. As WAI’s Business Manager, Mr. Penpek directs and coordinates all activities in Contracts, Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Project Controls and Human Resources.
Jim Gardner – Executive Vice President
Mr. Gardner has more than 32 years of business operations and senior project management experience with federal contracts involving all facets of facility support services, logistics support, environmental services, and construction support worldwide for the Department of Energy, Department of Defense and other U.S. government agencies. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. As WAI’s Executive Vice President, Mr. Gardner directs and coordinates activities associated with project operations, sales and major division of business organization. He also aides the CEO in formulating and administering company policies.
Glenn Henderson – Chief Operating Officer
Glenn Henderson is a certified PMP accredited through the PMI. Mr. Henderson’s professional experience includes more than 32 years working in project management and field operations in the commercial nuclear power industry, numerous U.S. Department of Energy facility remediation projects, as well as international environmental remediation projects. Mr. Henderson’s primary functions include the day-to-day direction of operations with a strong emphasis on performance, continuous improvement, and safe project execution. Additionally, Mr. Henderson guides WAI in the development and maturation of its management organization to ensure future growth and success. Mr. Henderson reports directly to the CEO.
